Fee Waivers are available for fall quarter admission only. They are open to qualified domestic applicants based on program participation, financial need or US veteran status. Eligibility to apply for a fee waiver is determined by completion of the Personal History section of the application and is part of the application process. If, based on information provided in the Personal History section, an applicant is determined to be eligible to apply for a waiver, instructions will be presented on the Payment page of the application. Please note that waivers are not automatically granted.
Documentation required for approving a fee waiver request must be received by the Graduate Division no later than 7 days after submission of a graduate application for admission or by March 4 (whichever comes first) of the same calendar year. Applicants requesting a fee waiver who do not meet this deadline will have their application reset.
The graduate program application deadline will supersede the Graduate Division’s deadline for fee waiver submission. Applicants should be sure the Graduate Division has all supporting documentation required before the program deadline.
International applicants are not eligible for application fee waivers.
