ARCS Fellowship

  • Overview: ARCS (Achievement Rewards for College Scientists) Foundation, Inc.is a unique, nonprofit, national volunteer organization of women dedicated to providing scholarships to academically outstanding U.S. citizens studying to complete their degrees in science, medicine and engineering, thereby contributing to the worldwide advancement of science and technology.

Brython Davis Fellowship

  • Overview: The Brython Davis Fellowship is intended to provide support to students who demonstrate outstanding past academic achievement as well as future promise and have financial need. Students must be US citizens, pursuing a master's degree (except MBA) or Ph.D. and be a son or daughter of a regular member, current or past, of the US Navy or Marine Corp. Preference is given to those students who have not previously received this award. Students must be enrolled full-time (in a minimum of 12 units) in the academic quarter in which the student chooses to take the award. This award cannot be deferred to a subsequent year.

Chancellor's Club Fellowship

  • Overview: These fellowships are awarded to the brightest and the best graduate students at UCI who also show great promise as future leaders. Nominations are made by Deans for scholars in their respective schools. The support and generosity of the Chancellor's Club members has allowed promising graduate students to be designated as Chancellor's Club Fund for Excellence Fellows.

Fletcher Jones Fellowship

  • Overview: At UCI, one graduate fellow is selected annually based on their past accomplishments, their enthusiasm for excellence, vitality, ingenuity, and their leadership potential consistent with that exhibited in life by Fletcher Jones.

Gordon Hein Scholarship

  • Overview: The Gordon E. Hein Scholarship is intended to provide financial support to Ph.D. or master's degree students (except MBA) who are legally blind and demonstrate outstanding past academic achievement as well as future promise.

Graduate Dean's Dissertation Fellowship

  • Overview: Graduate Dean's Dissertation Fellowship award will allow students to forgo their non-research related employment obligations to concentrate on completing their dissertation.

Graduate Dean's Recruitment Fellowship

  • Overview: Graduate Dean's Recruitment Fellowship program is designed to supplement financial support packages of those prospective doctoral and M.F.A. students who have received competitive offers from other institutions.

James J. Harvey Dissertation Quarter Fellowship

  • Overview: The James J. Harvey Dissertation Quarter Fellowship is intended to provide a doctoral student with financial support while working to complete a publishable dissertation. The student must be in good academic standing and doing research related to homosexuality or on the works or life of James J. Harvey. The student must also have financial need. The fellowship is non-renewable.

La Verne Noyes Fellowship

  • Overview: The La Verne Noyes Fellowship is intended to provide support to academically superior students in financial need, who are US citizens, pursuing a master's degree (except MBA) or Ph.D. and direct descendants of a World War I US Navy or Army veteran.

Miguel Velez Scholarship

  • Overview: The Miguel Velez Scholarship provides financial support to master's degree (except MBA) or Ph.D. students who demonstrate outstanding past academic achievement as well as future promise and are citizens of a Latin American country.

Phi Beta Kappa International Fellowship

  • Overview: Phi Beta Kappa Alumni International Scholarships are available for foreign students engaged in their final year of graduate study.

Public Impact Fellowships

  • Overview: Public Impact Fellowships highlight and support doctoral students whose current research has the potential for substantial impact in the public sphere. Ideal candidates will be involved in research designed to significantly improve or enrich the lives of Californians and/or national and global communities.
