Workshops for Faculty and Staff

The Graduate Division offers yearly workshops for faculty and staff to provide the most up-to-date information about policies and procedures and to support the work of the academic units. The workshops also cover a review of issues that both the academic units and the Graduate Division work on together. Each session ends with time for questions and answers. Additionally, our admissions and enrolled students staff offer individual training sessions throughout the year. Please contact the appropriate Graduate Division staff to schedule an appointment/training session.

FALL	Graduate Admissions and Enrolled Training – This workshop is designed to familiarize new and continuing graduate admissions staff with the admissions process from application submission to admission by the department. FALL	Thesis/Dissertation Information Session – This workshop is designed to familiarize students with the degree conferral submission process, formatting of the thesis/dissertation, deadlines, the sequence order of the manuscript, as well as all required paperwork. This is an opportunity for students to learn what they need to do to apply, as well as for faculty and staff to understand how to help and support their students through this difficult application process.
