Graduate School Preparation Programs
The Graduate Division offers three graduate school preparation program opportunities open to undergraduate diversity students, i.e., the AGEP Summer Research Program, the SURF (Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship) program and the UC LEADS (University of California Leadership Excellence through Advanced Degrees) program. In addition, we invite California Pre-Doctoral scholars to participate in our Summer Research Program.
The graduate school preparation programs include:
- Graduate school preparation workshops (GRE test preparation, "How to Prepare and Apply for Doctoral Programs," etc.)
- Research skills seminars and writing workshops
- Graduate student and faculty member mentoring
- Summer research experiences
- Participation in an annual Research Symposium
- Generous funding package
For specific program goals and eligibility, visit the Summer Research Program website.
