Diversity Fellowships
Diversity is a high priority for UCI and, as such, we want to facilitate your search as you seek out special opportunities for diversity students that will support you during your graduate school career. Similarly, diversity is a priority for many organizations nationwide who make special funds available to diversity students to assist them in achieving their academic aspirations.
In general, diversity fellowships are open only to U.S. Citizens and permanent residents of the U.S. who may be considered socioeconomically or otherwise educationally disadvantaged within our domestic population. In addition, some organizations (and the U.S. federal government) may define diversity in terms of being an ethnic minority in American higher education.
