Employment: Faculty & Staff

This section provides faculty and staff with information and links to resources for employing postdoctoral scholars and for employing graduate students as Teaching Assistants (TAs), Teaching Associates, Readers and Tutors ; and Graduate Student Researchers/Assistant Researchers (GSR/GSARs). Teaching assistantships provide partial fee/tuition remission (payment) as a benefit of their appointment; Graduate Student Researcher appointments provide full payment of fees/tuition for students in eligible appointments. Fees/tuition for GSRs/GSARs are automatically charged to the same funding source that is being charged for the student’s salary in the payroll system.
