Graduate Student Housing
If you are interested in either on-campus or off-campus housing, you should act quickly to secure housing in time for fall quarter.
- Newly admitted Ph.D., M.F.A., and J.D. students are guaranteed an offer of on-campus housing and should immediately review application instructions and deadlines listed on the UCI Housing Website.
- Graduate students who are pursuing degrees other than the Ph.D., M.F.A., or J.D. (e.g., M.D., Ed.D., M.A., M.S., M.B.A., MURP) may apply to get on the housing waitlist. Click here for information and an application link.
More information about your complete housing options can be viewed at UCI’s Graduate and Family Housing Website.
Please visit the UCI Housing Off-Campus Housing website for more information about living in the Orange County communities that surround UCI. The off-campus housing market surrounding UCI offers a large number of options, including over 15 different apartment complexes very close to UCI and less expensive options in neighboring cities. A popular option is the rental of "academic year" beach houses on the nearby Balboa Island and Peninsula.
Graduate student housing is one of UCI's highest priorities. We are constantly working to improve availability. Currently, UCI is proud to house over 50% of our graduate students on-campus.
