- When enrolling in classes it is very important to check with your department to be sure you are enrolling in the proper classes for your degree. Failure to follow departmental guidelines on class schedules can result in an increase in the time and hassle required to complete your degree.
- It is important to note that it is a Federal requirement for students receiving Fellowships and Financial Aid to follow UCI's Minimum Required Unit’s (MRU) guideline. For students receiving fellowship/stipend support you must enroll in at least 1 unit for your aid to be issued. Students who receive Financial Aid must enroll in at least 6 units for financial assistance to be issued. Students who receive both Fellowship and Financial Aid must enroll in at least 6 units.
- It is entirely the responsibility of the student to pay registration fees on time. Students who receive Fellowships/Stipends, Financial Aid or both are also responsible for checking their account ahead of time to verify that their fees have been recorded as paid.
