SPECIAL EVENT: Communicating Science Workshop

This workshop offers grad students techniques for effectively communicating research to broader audiences. Dennis Meredith will lead the first workshop featuring his book: Explaining Research-How to Reach Key Audiences to Advance Your Work (Oxford University Press).
This training workshop is being offered to graduate students to promote effective ways to communicate research to broader audiences.
Dennis Meredith, who has worked as a science communicator at MIT, Caltech, Cornell, Duke and the University of Wisconsin, will lead the first workshop featuring his book: Explaining Research-How to Reach Key Audiences to Advance Your Work (Oxford University Press).
This event is scheduled from 1 - 5pm with dessert and coffee breaks provided.
- Attendance is free, but students must RSVP in advance to reserve a spot as space is very limited due to the interactive nature of the workshop.
