DECADE: Diversity, Equity and the Courts: Measuring Success with Moving Metrics

Professor Tienda will address reasons that make the 2013 Fisher V. Texas U.S. Supreme Court case highly consequential for the future of higher education, and the implications of this legal development by asking insightful questions.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Create awareness of pending court decisions with implications on diversity in higher education.
  • Identify best practices for evaluating success of campus diversity in a changing climate.
